INOGene-SCoV-2 RT-qPCR (Covid-19) Detection Kit

 

 

Covid-19 Multiplex RT-qPCR detection kit, developed at Inovia Technology laboratories, has specifically designed oligonucleotides that target gene regions that are not impacted by mutation, allowing it to detect SCoV-2 variants that have surfaced thus far, including the Omicron variant.

The probes of SARS-CoV-2 RDRP and E genes in the kit are labeled with FAM and CY5 fluorophores, respectively, while the probe of RNase P gene is labeled with HEX fluorophore as an internal control. The kit performs virus screening and extraction control in the same well in a multiplexed manner.

It is possible to control the quality of the oligonucleotides and detect possible contamination during the analysis using the reaction mix, primer-probe mix, positive control and negative control tubes provided in the kit.

Two types of packages are prepared as  100 reactions and 500 reactions and you can select the one that best suits your needs.

Furthermore, the kit's optimizations have been performed in the Inovialab GENX-4, Biorad CFX96, and Roche LC480, and results can be acquired in 47 minutes.

 

 

Kit Contents

 

The Kit comes in two different package sizes: 100 and 500 reactions. Table 1 lists the components of both packages.

The kit uses reporter fluorophores to target the E and RdRp genes as SARS-COV-2 controls, as well as the Rnase P gene as an internal control, as indicated in Table 2.
